ADC DSX Panels

ADC D1M-1A0019
The ADC DSX interface enables patching, terminating and rearranging of circuits as traffic patterns change and demands on the network grow. ADC DSX equipment connects network equipment such as office repeaters, digital switches, channel banks, digital loop carriers, multiplexers, and digital loop switches. DSXBEST56, DSXDR56, DSXDR64, DSXBEST64

Features:
  • One rack unit height: compact size saves space in base station installations
  • Total front access configurations: all cross-connect and IN/OUT cabling is done on the front of the chassis, saving space and facilitating routine maintenance
  • Modular chassis configurations can be prewired and jack circuits can be added individually: allows capital investment to coincide with revenue growth
  • Die-cast bantam jacks: guarantee reliability, durability and quality over time

IN/OUT terminal: Permanently connects the NE to the DSX interface.
Cross-connect terminal: Connects the two DSX locations carrying the signals from the NEs.
Jacks: IN and OUT switching jacks allow access to the NE's input and output signals for test and patching operations. A MONITOR jack is connected to the OUT jack for nonintrusive access to the output signal. Dual MONITOR jacks provide bidirectional signal monitoring from one location.
LEDs: Flashing LEDs at each end of the DSX circuit quickly and easily identify the cross-connected circuit.

ADC DSX-4H-MBRC is a 3-port rear cross-connect DSX-3 module with midsize jacks. This basic 3-port module includes intrusive IN and OUT switching jacks, and one non-intrusive MONITOR jack that is bridged to the OUT jack. Each module has a red LED. All jacks incorporate "make-before-break" contacts which ensure that signals are not interrupted during patching.

ADC’s T1/E1, low profile, digital cross-connect products feature chassis that are only one rack unit high, a compact size that saves space in base station installations. Several style chassis are available. Non- modular chassis are available in all front access, or front cross-connect styles. Modular chassis can be prewired and installed without the plug-in modules, which can be added as required; this modular approach allows the network to grow as needed, minimizing initial set-up costs. The low profile panels’ exceptional cable management ensures a network that contains critical rerouting options, enables nonintrusive monitoring and troubleshooting, and lays the foundation for a future-proof infrastructure that accommodates change and growth without disruption of service.
